Fei Yifu was born in Wujiang of Jiangsu Province. After graduation from Suzhou Arts School in 1936, he worked in the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing Li Zhi Society. In 1951, he was dispatched to Shanghai Xing Zhi Art School. After three years, he taught at the Central East Branch of Central Art Academy, before becoming vice professor at the Zhejiang Art Academy. He is also a member of Chinese Artists" Association, a director of the Zhejiang Branch of the Art Association and an assistant manager of Hangzhou Ke Pu Mei Association. Oil Painting is his strength.
